Privacy Policy

Arabel ("we", "us", "our") provides a browser-based developer toolkit at arabel.dev. This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, how we use it, and your rights under applicable law.
Account data — your name and email address, when you register.
Usage data — features used, pages visited, session duration — to improve the product.
Technical data — IP address, browser type, and device information, collected automatically on each request.
Files you process with tools such as the PDF Editor or File Scanner are handled entirely in your browser and are never sent to our servers.
Contract — account data is necessary to provide the service you signed up for.
Legitimate interest — usage and technical data are processed to maintain security and improve the product.
Consent — analytics cookies are only activated if you accept them via the cookie banner.
We use your data to authenticate you and manage your account, to send transactional emails (password reset, plan notifications), and to analyse product usage to prioritise improvements. We do not sell your data. We do not share it with advertisers.
We share data only with processors who help operate the service: hosting infrastructure, transactional email delivery, and (with your consent) analytics. All processors are bound by data processing agreements.
Essential cookies keep you logged in and are always active. Analytics cookies are optional and only activated with your consent. You can withdraw consent at any time by clearing site cookies and re-visiting the site.
Account data is retained for as long as your account is active. On deletion, personal data is erased within 30 days. Server logs are retained for up to 90 days for security purposes.
Under GDPR, if you are in the EEA or UK, you have the right to access, correct, erase, restrict, or port your data; to object to processing; and to withdraw consent at any time. Send requests to noreply@privacy.arabel.dev. You may also file a complaint with your local data protection authority.
Arabel is not directed at users under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
We may update this policy. Material changes will be communicated by email or a notice on the site before they take effect.
Terms of Service

By accessing or using Arabel (arabel.dev) you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
Arabel is a browser-based developer toolkit offering tools including a PDF Builder, File Scanner, Passkey Generator, and others. The service is currently in early access and is free to use. We may add, modify, or remove tools at any time.
You must register with accurate information and keep your credentials secure. Notify us immediately at noreply@support.arabel.dev if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.
You may not use Arabel to violate any applicable law or regulation; upload content that is illegal, harmful, or infringes third-party rights; probe or test the security of our systems without authorisation; reverse-engineer or copy any part of the platform; or resell access without written permission.
Files you upload for local processing (PDF Editor, File Scanner) never leave your browser. Project documents and generated files stored server-side are covered by our Privacy Policy. We may delete stored content if your account is inactive for more than 12 months.
Arabel, its branding, and underlying technology are owned by us. Code, documents, and assets you generate using Arabel belong to you.
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. The service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to €50. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
You may delete your account at any time from the settings page. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
These terms are governed by Italian law. Disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Italy.
We may update these terms. We will provide at least 14 days' notice of material changes via email or an in-app notice. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
